Precisionscreen ‘Sealed Conveyor System’ Technology
This technology is used on all Discharge conveyors of the PS480t. These conveyors are different to the conventional
ones seen on most mobile plants, as they have no roller brackets or roller carriers. The rollers are connected
at the top of the wing roller by shaft and linked together by chain link (free hanging and moving). This radical idea
allows material to flow evenly over the rollers and allows them to move with the weight of the belt ensuring support
at all times. The main benefit of this style conveyor is the sealed arrangement so no material leaks/spills. The
800mm wide belt is supported either side above wing roller by a slide bed, weight on the belt from material forces
down the belt on to this slider bed creating a full seal. This then negates the need for skirt rubber. Also protects the
tail drum and keeps it free from roll back stone that you may get from more common conveyors. As the conveyor is
completely sealed there is minimal chance for a stone to get under the belt. Even if one does there are no roller carriers
for it to get caught in. This is a very simple and effective conveyor that will increase your up time and lower
running costs– Less roller failure, no skirts and better belt life due to no wear troughs from skirts.
