The Newly designed Stationary Trommel from Precisionscreen delivers high production capacities to the difficult materials that conventional screening plants can't handle.

The Trommel has been designed Specifically for the mulch/compost/top soil application to help deal with the moisture element in the product. Due to the change in weather patterns over the last few years Precisionscreen realised that they needed to offer a solution to these more sticky, difficult materials. This lead to the introduction of the Fixed 7m long Trommel with a 2.5m diameter. The hopper is 9m long and open style so material can be fed in easily and flow without hang ups. The 1500mm feeder belt with cleats helps to take the material to the 1500mm wide inclined belt that transports it to the trommel for processing. The Plant is driven by a standalone powerpack diesel/hydraulic which has ample power and capacity. The trommel has a variable speed to allow extra control over finished product.
