The Precisionscreen Range of screening plants also includes the Precisionscreen Trommel 308-2. This plant has been designed for Australian conditions for Australian operators. The trommel barrel is 30ft long and 8ft in diameter and has a genuine capacity of approximately 200 metres per hour. One of the many unique and important features this plant has is that the trommel barrel is fully enclosed - dramatically reducing dust associated problems. The generous hopper with the 1500mm wide feed system helps to ensure that even difficult materials are handled efficiently. Product is discharged via a fixed tail conveyor (for coarse product) and the fines are discharged via a radial side conveyor.

The Precisionscreen Trommel is mounted on its own road registrable chassis and is packed with features that assist in making this plant a breeze to work with. Air-operated self-cleaning brushes are a standard feature. The sides of the plant fold down hydraulically both for ease of access to the Trommel barrel and provide a safe walkway for any maintenance required. Maintenance is assisted by the addition of onboard compressor and air tools. The engine, being a water-cooled diesel, has a pre-set reversible self-cleaning cooling fan.
